Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced accountant to join our Accounting + Finance team in a permanent role. You will manage financial data, ensure accuracy and compliance, and contribute to inventory management and the general ledger.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, and strong Excel and GAAP knowledge. CPA/CMA is a plus; we offer great benefits and generous PTO.

• Proficient in inventory management and general ledger.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and reconciling the general ledger and subsidiary accounts.
• Managing and maintaining our inventory records, ensuring accurate costing and valuation.
• Preparing accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department.
• Conducting regular ledger maintenance.
• Assisting with the annual audit process including the preparation of audit schedules.
• Reviewing and improving accounting and financial procedures and policies to improve efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws for financial and tax reporting.
• Assisting in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
• Identifying and preventing discrepancies in financial documents and reports.

Are you an experienced, detail-oriented accountant seeking a dynamic role within a thriving organization? We are looking for a permanent accountant to join our Accounting + Finance team. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
