Pharmaceutical Sales Rep (Entry Level and/or Specialty)

Collaborate with management and team members to achieve sales goals, providing quality consultative service and coordinating outside alliances and internal resources to meet customer needs.

Major Responsibilities:

Manage territory accounts, identify key decision makers, and inform influential physicians about pharmaceutical and medical products. Balance time effectively between customer visits to meet results. Keep skills and product knowledge current. Develop strategic plans to compete and succeed in the healthcare marketplace.

Major Duties:
  • Build positive relationships and penetrate large accounts by identifying decision makers.
  • Develop creative strategies to grow your customer base.
  • Create a territory plan with goals and resource allocation, including coverage, sampling, and educational proposals.
  • Gain formulary acceptance and compliance with managed care accounts.
  • Partner proactively with customers, understanding long-term trends to develop business plans.
  • Utilize consultative skills to assist customers with their business needs.
  • Market and sell vertical products.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Some sales experience or related abilities.
  • Ability to work remotely and use ZOOM software.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to target health professionals to maximize sales and product volume.
  • Effective selling skills and product knowledge to influence prescribing behaviors.
  • Analyze territory data to optimize routes and achieve sales results.
  • Use sales tools and resources for planning and activity management.
  • Leverage customer knowledge to address healthcare professionals' and patients' needs.
  • Commit to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Conduct business ethically and in accordance with policies and regulations.
  • Maintain high ethical and professional standards at all times.
