United Legwear & Apparel Company is seeking a sales support specialist in New Jersey to coordinate open orders, communicate across sales and operations, and ensure accurate processing and shipping per retailer requirements.

The role emphasizes strong Excel skills, wholesale knowledge, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent communication with internal teams and clients.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in sales support, account management, or related role in apparel industry or equivalent
• Proficiency in wholesale operations, import processes and distribution
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Pivot Tables and data management

Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

• Collaborate with sales to maintain a clean and accurate open order file.
• Communicate daily with sales, order management, and various operations departments to efficiently and accurately process, allocate and ship all customer orders based on specific retailer requirements.
• Resolve sales and operational inquiries/concerns professionally and in a timely manner.
• Maintain consistent contact with sales and operations teams regarding discrepancies, missing or incorrect order information, shortages, back in stock dates, etc.
• Maintain working knowledge of account logistics and retailer requirements.
• Contribute positively to team dynamic and manage up where necessary.
• Perform any other duties as assigned in support of the company needs and operations.

Qualifications For Success:

• High School diploma and 2 years’ experience in sales support, account management, or a related role within the apparel industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in wholesale operations, import processes and distribution.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office including intermediate to advanced Excel and data management (sorting/V-look up and Pivot Tables).
• Self-motivated individual must be able to prioritize and multi-task effectively when working independently or in a team.
• Must be analytical, detailed, and organized with excellent follow up skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate and succeed in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment while maintaining a poise and a positive attitude.

Salary Range

$60,000 - $70,000
