Job summary

United Legwear & Apparel Co. in New York City is seeking a Graphic Designer (Apparel) to bring seasonal main line and special projects to life through innovative graphics and print design.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising, and Production to ensure brand alignment and timely delivery. The role requires strong Photoshop/Illustrator skills, a keen eye for trends, and the ability to develop dynamic designs while creating tech packs and contributing to multiple collections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in a related field or 1-3 years of work-related experience in Design or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Develop designs consistent with the brand look and feel.
• Keep up with market trends to develop branding and graphics.
• Extensive software knowledge in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and workload.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team under critical time frames.
• Self-driven and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Graphic knowledge and well informed in current graphic trends within the art and fashion.
• Design and explore new graphic applications on product to complement seasonal narrative.
• Research and participate in creating seasonal inspiration.
• Create tech packs with detailed specs that include sizing, special treatments, print techniques and art placement.
• Develop new dynamic designs and enhance existing concepts.
• Adhere to timelines and meet all deadlines while producing high-quality work.
• Perform any other duties as assigned in support of the company needs and operations.

Job Summary:

At ULAC, the Graphic Designer plays a key role in bringing our seasonal main line and special projects to life through innovative graphics and print design. Partnering closely with the Design Team, this role will support the creative process from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with brand standards and delivering work that meets both company and departmental deadlines. The Graphic Designer will also collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Marketing, Merchandising, and Production to provide creative support for ad hoc initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of design into broader business goals.

Essential Functions (Including but not limited to):

• Graphic knowledge and well informed in current graphic trends within the art and fashion.
