Account Supervisor, Health & Wellness
We are looking for a communications professional to support integrated communications programs for leading health, wellness, and healthcare organizations. This role involves managing client relationships, shaping media strategies, and guiding communications initiatives that build awareness, credibility, and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the trusted day‑to‑day client contact, managing communications programs, project timelines, and integrated workstreams.
- Help develop communications strategies, key messages, and storytelling that align with client objectives.
- Research, write, and edit a variety of communications materials, including news releases, fact sheets, messaging documents, presentations, and media materials.
- Support the planning and execution of events, speaking opportunities, and other stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative environment.
- Help manage budgets, timelines, resources, and project deliverables while ensuring quality, efficiency, and accountability.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or related fields within an agency or fast‑paced environment.
- 2+ years of experience supporting healthcare, health and wellness, pharmaceutical, or related clients.
- Experience developing and executing communications programs that support business, brand, and stakeholder objectives.
- Strong understanding of media relations and earned communications strategies.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with experience developing media materials and strategic recommendations.
- Experience building strong client relationships and supporting communications programs.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with experience managing multiple priorities and timelines.
- Understanding of the healthcare and wellness landscape, including regulatory and industry considerations.
- Experience planning and executing events, media programs, or stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for communications and storytelling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting integrated communications campaigns across earned, social, and owned channels.
- Experience working with healthcare professionals, advocacy groups, or patient communities.
- Experience contributing to business development or new business initiatives.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and client presentation development.
Pay Range
$80,000 – $100,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
