Job summary

Real in New York, a boutique Financial Services PR agency, seeks a practitioner with 3-4 years of agency experience in Financial Services to join our hybrid team. You will attend client meetings and manage accounts, focusing on media relations, messaging, and strategy for diverse clients.

You will work with clients across wealth and asset management, private equity, or financial services, travelling 2-3X weekly to our Manhattan-area office.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of public relations agency experience, particularly in Financial Services.
• Understanding of Financial Services PR and media relations best practices.
• Comfort interfacing with clients and willingness to travel 2-3X weekly to Manhattan offices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend client meetings and manage accounts for a boutique Financial Services agency.
• Focus on media relations, messaging, and strategy across portfolio clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support client programs in wealth/asset management and private equity.

Job description

• Be part of a boutique Financial Services agency that specializes in Blue Chip clients, the majority of which have been clients for 10+ years
• Work with clients across wealth & asset management, private equity, or financial services
• Focus in Media relations, messaging, and strategy
• Attend Client meetings and manage accounts
• Hybrid schedule 2-3X a week in office work

Job Requirements:

• 3-4 years of public relations agency experience, particularly in the Financial Services
• Understanding of Financial Services PR
• Understanding of best practices for engaging media/media relations experience
• Comfortability interfacing with clients
• Genuine and intrinsic interest in financial services
• Prior Experience with financial services PR
• Willingness to travel 2-3X a week to work in a beautiful office in the Manhattan metropolitan area
• A desire to learn, grow, and be part of a tight knit and warm culture
• Ability to be independent while also thriving in a team environment, effectively working across departments, and contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
