Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency seeking an Account Strategist to own paid media for a book of B2B and growing-brand clients: the targeting, the budget calls, the roadmap and the narrative when the client asks why. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

This fully remote role covers Canada, South Africa or USA, with a focus on Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads; you will test, optimize and report on performance, using GA4 and tag manager to

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in paid media management for Google Ads and Meta
• Proven track record of improving ROAS, CPA, or pipeline metrics
• Experience handling multiple clients in an agency setting
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls

Responsibilities

• Own paid media across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads for your accounts.
• Manage budget allocation, bidding, targeting and creative testing.
• Set and communicate 90-day and quarterly roadmaps for each client.
• Provide the narrative and justification on calls with clients.
• Drive account growth through retention, upsell and long-term relationship building.

What You Will Own

• Paid media across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads for your accounts.
• Budget allocation, bidding, targeting and creative testing, and when to kill a campaign.
• Conversion tracking and attribution you can trust: GA4, tag manager and platform pixels.
• The 90 day and quarterly roadmap for each client, and the story behind the numbers on the call.
• Account growth: retention, upsell and the long-term relationship.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in Google Ads and Meta: you have built, run and optimized the campaigns yourself.
• A record of moving ROAS, CPA or pipeline numbers you can walk us through.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
