Account Strategist (HubSpot) - About the Job

We’re looking for a client-facing Account Strategist (HubSpot) to join an award-winning US-based digital agency known for delivering full customer lifecycle growth strategies across inbound marketing, sales enablement, revenue operations, and customer success, with a strong focus on the HubSpot ecosystem.

In this role, you’ll blend account management with strategic marketing and sales operations leadership, helping clients achieve measurable results across marketing, sales, and success initiatives. You’ll work with a collaborative team while owning client relationships and driving strategic growth across multiple industries.

This is a freelance, ongoing opportunity requiring 10–20 hours per week, fully remote, and open to international talent.

Account Strategist (HubSpot) - Job Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary client lead, building trust with executive-level clients across diverse industries.
  • Lead strategic discovery, goal setting, and the creation of marketing, sales, and customer success strategies tailored to client business objectives.
  • Develop and oversee full-funnel lifecycle strategies: inbound marketing, demand generation, CRM optimization, customer retention initiatives.
  • Deliver regular reporting and performance analysis; lead monthly reviews and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal specialists in demand gen, content, design, paid media, and RevOps.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities in client strategies, recommend solutions, and guide implementation to drive ROI.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, HubSpot ecosystem updates, and competitive landscape insights.

Account Strategist (HubSpot) - Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of digital marketing strategy experience, with a strong emphasis on demand generation, inbound marketing, and lifecycle marketing.
  • 2–3 years of hands-on HubSpot CRM experience (including CRM management, automation workflows, reporting, and sequences).
  • Strong experience leading client-facing strategic conversations with executive stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of sales operations and customer success lifecycle (trainable if core marketing experience is strong).
  • Proven ability to develop and execute full-funnel marketing ecosystems, integrating brand awareness, lead generation, nurturing, and customer retention initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and marketing tech integrations is a plus.
  • Experience working collaboratively across specialized teams, including SEO, Paid Media, Content, and Marketing Operations, to deliver a holistic, cross-channel marketing strategy that drives measurable growth at every stage of the customer journey.
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and able to work autonomously in a remote environment.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
