Liberty FCU is seeking an Account Service Representative (Personal Banker) to support daily retail operations at the Main Office in Evansville, IN. The role requires exceptional service, confidentiality, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.

Prior financial institution experience is preferred. Responsibilities include meeting with members to assess banking needs, enrolling them in products, handling notary duties, processing deposits and loans, and supporting lending goals.

Responsabilités

• Meet with members to determine banking needs and recommend accounts.
• Assist members with enrolling in credit union products and services.
• Maintain knowledge of account types, services, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure all required account documents are completed accurately.
• Strive to meet cross sell goals.
• Assist members with certificates, IRA and HSA accounts.
• Serve as Notary Public and Signature Guarantee for credit union transactions.
• Open and Close safe deposit boxes.
• Maintain knowledge of the credit union’s core processing system.
• Meet with members to determine lending needs and recommend loan types.
• Maintain knowledge base of lending products, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Identify and recommend additional products to meet the member’s needs.
• Ensure all required lending documents are completed accurately.
• Make follow up outbound calls to members regarding lending needs.
• Strive to support branch lending goals.
• Perform various member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Balance branch cash machines and cash drawer daily.
• Answer member telephone inquiries.
• Meet MSR cross sell goals and support all branch goals and initiatives.
• Open and close the office on a rotating basis.
• Serve as Saturday manager or other assigned position on rotating basis.
• Assist in record keeping of employee absences and training.
• Develop a working knowledge of data and word processing system.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is currently seeking an Account Service Representative (Personal Banker) to assist with the daily retail operations of the Main Office located at 4401 Theater Drive, Evansville, IN 47715. Candidates must possess exceptional service skills, professionalism, confidentiality, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills. Previous financial institution experience is preferred. The hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Friday 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays on a rotating basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as a primary Account Service Representative.
  • Meet with members to determine their banking needs and recommend appropriate accounts.
  • Assist members with enrolling in credit union products and services.
  • Maintain an active knowledge base of credit union account types, services, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure all required account documents are completed accurately.
  • Strive to meet cross sell goals.
  • Assist members with certificates, IRA and HSA accounts.
  • Serve as a Notary Public and Signature Guarantee for credit union transactions.
  • Open and Close safe deposit boxes.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the credit union’s core processing system.
• Serve as a Consumer Loan Processor.
  • Meet with members to determine their lending needs and recommend appropriate loan type.
  • Maintain an active knowledge base of lending products, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Identify and recommend additional products that meets the member’s needs.
  • Ensure all required lending documents are completed accurately.
  • Make follow up outbound calls to members to inquire about lending needs.
  • Strive to support branch lending goals.
• Serve as back-up Member Service Representative (MSR).
  • Perform various member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
  • Ensure transactions are posted efficiently and correctly.
  • Assist in balancing branch cash machines.
  • Ensure cash drawer is in balance daily.
  • Answer member telephone inquiries.
  • Strive to meet MSR cross sell goals and work to support all branch goals and initiatives.
• Open and close the office on a rotating basis or when necessary.
• Serve as Saturday manager or any other assigned position on a rotating basis.
• Assist branch office with record keeping of employee absences and training when necessary.
• Develop a working knowledge of the credit union’s data and word processing system.
• Any other duties assigned by my supervisor or management.
