Job summary

AIS Healthcare is seeking a Field-Based Account Resource Manager to support hospitals, physician practices, and other facilities across Arizona, Nevada, California, and Hawaii.

The role combines account management, reimbursement education, and operational training, serving as a subject-matter expert for MyAIS Portal and eRx systems, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve patient access and provider support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of reimbursement, payer access, or related healthcare experience.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement and revenue cycle processes.
  • Experience working directly with healthcare providers and customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onboarding, account setup, training, and ongoing support to a portfolio of healthcare customers.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and respond to operational and reimbursement inquiries.
  • Educate providers on coverage, coding, reimbursement, prior authorizations, and appeals processes.
  • Partner with clinics and physician offices to obtain required documentation and resolve barriers to patient access.
  • Track, report, escalation, and communicate documentation and reimbursement activity.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the MyAIS Portal and eRx systems, including troubleshooting, password resets, user training, and prescription order support.
  • Assist healthcare providers and patients with funding and access-related questions.
  • Deliver educational programs and in-services related to reimbursement, coding, and AIS Healthcare products.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, reimbursement, billing, collections, and operational teams.
  • Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.

Position Summary

The Account Resource Manager is a regional, field-based position responsible for supporting hospitals, physician practices, outpatient departments, and other healthcare facilities that purchase intrathecal products directly from AIS Healthcare. This role serves as a trusted resource for customers by providing onboarding, reimbursement education, operational support, training, and assistance with documentation and access-related challenges. The Account Resource Manager also serves as a subject matter expert for the MyAIS Portal and eRx platform while collaborating closely with Regional Sales Managers, billing teams, collections professionals, and healthcare providers.

What You'll Do

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of pharmacy or specialty pharmacy experience
  • Experience in specialty infusion, reimbursement, patient access, or provider support
  • Knowledge of commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid reimbursement landscapes
  • Experience supporting EMR, eRx, Surescripts, or healthcare technology platforms
  • Experience working with hospitals, physician offices, outpatient clinics, or site-of-care facilities
