Job summary

Kelvin Thomas Insurance Agency Inc, a State Farm agent, is seeking an Account Representative to support daily operations and customer success. You will grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and act as a liaison between customer needs and agency sales.

You will develop leads, schedule appointments, provide prompt, friendly service, and promote products and services. The role emphasizes building lasting relationships and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
• Communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
• Dedicated to customer service and ability to relate to customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market products and services to help meet those needs.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service including product availability, eligibility, coverages, changes, transfers, claims, and billing.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As Account Representative for the Kelvin Thomas Insurance Agency Inc, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You help grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency sales. You improve the lives of customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market products and services to help meet those needs.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding product availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Promote successful and long-lasting customer relations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in sales (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
• Property & Casualty and Life/Health licensed preferred.
• Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
• Communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
• Dedicated to customer service.
• Able to anticipate customer needs.
• Able to effectively relate to customers.
• Work Hours 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday
• Base plus commission pay structure
