Job summary

Bennett Insurance Agency Inc. in Delaware is seeking an Account Representative who will grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and by marketing State Farm insurance and financial services products.

You will develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market products and services to help meet those needs while establishing strong relationships and meeting monthly sales goals. DE Property & Casualty and DE Life & Health licenses are required before starting.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Dedicated to customer service and able to anticipate customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market products and services to help meet those needs.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As Account Representative for the Bennett Insurance Agency Inc., you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You help grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market products and services to help meet those needs.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding product availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Meet monthly activity and sales goals.
• Community visits.
• Promote successful and long-lasting customer relations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in sales (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred but not required.
• Experience in managing customer relationships preferred.
• Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
• Communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
• Dedicated to customer service.
• Able to anticipate customer needs.
• Able to effectively relate to customers.
• Will be required to obtain both: DE Property & Casualty license AND DE Life & Health license prior to starting.
