Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking an Account Representative for dock and door outside sales in Plymouth, MI. You will drive growth by selling dock and door equipment and parts to existing accounts and new prospects, building relationships and coordinating with service teams.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is a plus, and a valid driver's license is needed to

Responsibilities

• Maximize sale of dock and door equipment and parts & service within a defined territory to meet sales objectives.
• Develop existing accounts and seek new business; analyze opportunities and build relationships.
• Develop territory management plan to maximize customer time.
• Maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, and activity; discuss with Sales Manager.
• Participate in training to enhance product knowledge and sales skills; travel to Northern Kentucky branch as needed.

Account Representative - Dock and Door Outside Sales for Lift Truck Leader

Job Duties

• Responsible for maximizing the sale of dock and door equipment and parts & service for dock & door within a specified territory to meet sales objectives.
• Develop existing accounts & seek new business. Analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, & develop strong business relationships. Consult & problem solve to enhance the Company’s position in existing & target accounts.
• Develop a territory management plan to maximize time with customers.
• Utilize online resources to maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, & sales activity information. Discuss sales activities with the Sales Manager.
• Participate in ongoing training programs and meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales skills. This may include traveling to the Northern Kentucky branch.

Minimum Qualifications

• Less than 2 years of related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demos.

Preferred Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or a related business program is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Intermediate computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
