Sonoco Canada is seeking an Account Representative to enhance our sales efforts in the Rigid Paper Containers Division. This remote position involves coordinating all direct sales activities, maintaining relationships with clients, and devising strategic growth plans. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach, aiming to drive profitability through new and existing accounts.

While reporting to the Sales Manager for the Rigid Paper Containers Division, as an Account Representative, you will be responsible for coordinating all direct sales activities related to key growth target platforms, markets and prospective and existing accounts found within assigned area of responsibility. Maintaining regular contact with those targets to grow our business and seek out new products and service opportunities. Included in this position are the day-to-day account activities that drive our organization to deliver superior service and product quality, establish strong relationships with the customer (plant, technical, supply chain and purchasing), prepare and executing a growth account plan, market analysis, planning analysis and strategic leadership to deliver profitable growth enhancing Sonoco’s overall position in all markets.

This position is remote, but some travel will be needed as accounts develop and to manage territory.

Compensation:
This is a progression position and could be an Account Rep level I, II or III.Compensation and progression level will be based on candidate’s experience and education, and current business needs.
The annual base salary range for this role is from:
Account Representative I: $56,256 to $63,288.
Account Representative II: $75,328 to $84,744.
Senior Account Representative: $92,064 to $103,572.
