Job Description:
As an established part of the Customer Management team, the Strategic Account Representative (SAR) works closely with the customer, sales, and other McKesson support teams to provide exceptional service. The SAR role is assigned to McKesson’s largest customers across Enterprise. Partnering externally with the customer and internally with McKesson’s subject matter experts, the SAR role is designed to support daily activities critical to the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Perform account maintenance calls on Ambulatory Care customer locations as directed by Ambulatory Care Team
Execute contract business case and account plans, detailing support and contractual requirements, opportunities, expansion strategies, required resources, decision makers and influencers and insights into account
Drive the attainment of customer satisfaction indicators such as service level, financial objectives, quality, reliability and alignment and attainment of customer goals
Sell products to locations as allowed by customer agreement and formulary (supplies, equipment, housekeeping products)
Educate key personnel at customer locations and influence them to drive lower product utilization and adhere to the product formulary approved by the corporate office
Support customer on-boarding by making presentations to key people at customer locations during the first 30 days of the customers start date
Introduce new products to Strategic locations as driven by product conversions and formulary changes directed by the corporate office.
Reinforce McKesson value props that have been sold to the corporate office to the group customer locations
Determine any customer satisfaction gaps at customer locations and resell value props as needed
2+ years relevant experience
Critical Skills:
2+ years’ experience with client/customer management
Intermediate (Strong) proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel
2+ years of experience preparing, managing, and presenting customer reporting
Experience in managing excellent communication with both internal and external stakeholders
Excellent abilities in managing competing priorities while balancing the needs of customers
Additional Knowledge & Skills:
Experience working in Salesforce, Snowflake, and/or JDE
Solid understanding of the medical surgical industry with a comprehensive knowledge of customer service policies, practices, and systems preferred
Energetic self-starter with a passion for customer experience
The ability to interact professionally with vendors, customers, and co-workers
Education:
HS Diploma or equivalent required
Physical Requirements:
Large percentage of time performing computer-based work within an office setting
Must be authorized to work in the US. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Minimum Requirements:
2+ years relevant experience
