Concentric Corporation is partnering with a growing commercial mechanical services organization to identify a driven Account Representative focused on new business development throughout the Des Moines market. This is a true hunter role for a sales professional who enjoys building a territory, creating opportunities, and turning new relationships into long-term customers, with emphasis on prospecting and managing the full sales cycle.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales experience with a strong track record of developing new business.
• Demonstrated success prospecting, building relationships, and closing new accounts.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new commercial and industrial business throughout the assigned territory.
• Build a strong pipeline through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and relationship development.
• Identify prospective customers and uncover opportunities for preventive maintenance agreements, service work, and mechanical projects.
• Conduct customer meetings, facility walkthroughs, and site surveys to better understand operational challenges and mechanical needs.
• Develop trusted relationships with building owners, facility managers, operations leaders, and other key decision-makers.
• Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Manage opportunities throughout the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close.
• Collaborate with technical and operational teams to develop accurate, practical customer solutions.
• Maintain consistent follow-up and communication with prospects and customers.
• Develop and execute an effective territory growth strategy.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and customer information within the CRM.
• Represent the organization professionally at customer meetings, networking events, and industry functions.

Position Overview

Concentric Corporation is partnering with a growing commercial mechanical services organization to identify a driven Account Representative focused on new business development throughout the Des Moines market.

This is a true hunter role for a sales professional who enjoys building a territory, creating opportunities, and turning new relationships into long-term customers. The Account Representative will focus heavily on prospecting and relationship development while learning to identify mechanical service needs and provide solutions across commercial and industrial environments.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, competitive, highly organized, and comfortable taking ownership of the entire sales process. Previous mechanical industry experience is preferred, but candidates with a strong B2B sales background and the ability to learn a technical offering will also be considered.

• Experience selling to building owners, facility managers, plant leaders, or operations professionals


• Technical knowledge of commercial mechanical systems
