Account Planning Director

Position Overview

The Account Planning Director is responsible for leading the account planning team to develop strategic plans that align with client objectives and drive business growth. This role involves analyzing market trends, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of projects while collaborating cross-functionally to achieve business goals. This role will work with Hispanic US national accounts.

This is a Hybrid (4 days onsite) role in Houston, Texas (Upper Kirby) that will be contract to hire. This is a Full-Time Direct Hire position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the account planning team in developing and implementing strategic account plans.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and inform planning strategies.
  • Manage client relationships to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
  • Oversee project management activities to ensure timely and budget-compliant execution.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to drive business development efforts.
  • Utilize data analysis to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to present plans and updates.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Manage budgets effectively to ensure optimal allocation of resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (both verbal and written).
  • Proven experience in account planning or a similar role with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
  • Agency experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in market analysis and data interpretation.
  • Strong client relationship management skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
