Account Planner Role Purpose / Mission The Account Planner supports production and customer service activities by coordinating planning processes for assigned accounts. This position serves as a liaison between Webco's contract customers and the Pennsylvania Carbon production group, ensuring that customer needs are translated into accurate production plans. Working closely with sales, production, and logistics, the Account Planner helps maintain an efficient balance between customer satisfaction and plant optimization. This role is foundational to developing expertise in SAP planning, data analysis, and production coordination while modeling Webco's principles of integrity, trust, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating production schedules to fulfill customer orders and forecasts.
• Communicate regularly with internal departments, subcontractors, and customers to maintain order accuracy and delivery timelines.

Required & Preferred Qualifications

• Required:

  • Experience: 0-2 years in planning, scheduling, customer service, or related areas.
  • Ability to read and speak English is required.
• Preferred:
  • Education: Coursework or degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Operations.
  • Systems: Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Experience: Previous work in a manufacturing or production environment.

Typical Physical Demands

• Must be able to work a minimum of 8 hours per day on a regular basis.

• May involve standing or walking up to 2 miles within manufacturing facilities.

• Occasional visits to plant areas may expose employee to noise and machinery.
