Responsibilities

  • Coordination and management of communications between the Customer, Raw Material Planning, and Operations.
  • Receives Webco and customer master coils into SAP upon arrival.
  • Creates slit work orders for Webco’s external customers.
  • Maintains scheduling agreements with customer requirements to provide excellent customer service and meet shipping needs.
  • Posts and invoices all customer shipped material.
  • Reviews all aged coils and mults monthly and works with the customer to properly disposition materials.
  • Creates and maintains transport orders from Muskogee to Oklahoma Carbon.
  • Works with carriers to schedule outbound trucks for slit mults shipping to Oklahoma Carbon.
  • Creates all necessary truck paperwork while on shift and maintains records.
  • Coordinates scrap pickups.
  • Understands Webco’s mission, goals, objectives, organizational structure, and product base.

Job description

Customer Account Representative – Port of Muskogee
Role Purpose / Mission

The Customer Account Representative will be the point of contact for Webco’s external slitting customers, the raw material planning group and operations for the Port of Muskogee. They will handle the needs of our external customers from cradle to grave. Constant monitoring of customer requirements and inventory levels will be required to ensure these needs are being met while responsibly managing inventory levels. They will also be responsible for coordinating shipments and invoicing slit material from our Muskogee plant to Oklahoma Carbon. This position will be officed at the Port of Muskogee and will report directly to the OKC Plant Scheduling Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordination and management of communications (written and verbal) between the Customer, Raw Material Planning, and Operations.

Typical Physical Demands
  • Work a minimum of 8 hours per day; additional hours as required based on production needs.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting with continuous use of computer, monitors, keyboard, mouse, and 10-key.

  • Ability to manage fast-paced work and high-pressure situations.
  • Occasional walking and standing in production areas.
Typical Working Conditions
  • Primarily office-based in a clean, temperature-controlled environment.
  • Exposure to typical office-related air contaminants such as dust.
  • Occasional presence in manufacturing areas with exposure to loud and prolonged noise.
  • Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when on the plant floor, including hearing protection and safety glasses with side shields.
