Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking an account liaison to coordinate and execute account SLAs, serving as the primary contact for auction vendors and clients in Hamilton, OH. You will understand client requirements, upsell CAI products and services, and ensure the agreed work is completed to mutual satisfaction.

You will coordinate with auction personnel and stakeholders across all aspects of customer engagement, delivering exceptional service while ensuring vehicles are prepared and ready for sale.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years in a related field.
• Alternate: any degree/certification beyond HS in a related discipline.
• 5 years’ experience in a related field.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
• Review vehicles in sale lineup, locate missing vehicles, and coordinate with account rep to ensure on-site readiness for sale.
• Perform basic client services: monitor reconditioning, support client team, communicate with stakeholders for smooth auction operations.
• Educate clients on Cox Automotive products and services.
• With senior support, review sales lineup and coordinate reconditioning, conduct condition reports and imaging audits to reduce risk.
• Develop understanding of auction services concepts and vehicle inspection processes.
• Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) and internal platforms.
• Demonstrate safety commitment by following safety and health procedures and modeling expected behaviors.
• Participate in safety activities and initiatives.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job description

Serves as account liaison coordinating and executing account SLA's. Serves as a primary point of contact for auction vendors / clients. Engages with clients to understand requirements, upsell CAI products and services, and ensure the work agreed upon is completed to client expectations. Offer solutions and ensure the sales proceed in a manner that is mutually beneficial, for the client and for Cox. Coordinates with auction personnel and other stakeholders across all aspects of customer engagement.

• Provide exceptional customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.
• Review vehicles in sale line up, locate missing vehicles, and work with account representative to ensure vehicles are ready and parked on-spot on-time for sale.
• Preforms basic client services duties such as monitoring vehicle reconditioning processes, supporting client team, and communicating with stakeholders to ensure smooth auction operations.
• Educates on company products and services.
• With assistance from more senior peers and multiple auction departments, reviews sales lineup vehicles, recommending and coordinating reconditioning services, and conducting condition report and imaging audits to reduce the risk of policy loss and goodwill expenses
• Develops a foundational understanding of auction services concepts and methodologies including but not limited to condition report data and the vehicle inspection process.
• Basic knowledge of computers software including Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and other internal business technology platforms.
• Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
• Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
• Perform any other duties assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.
• OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline;
• OR 5 years' experience in a related field
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.

Preferred

• Prior experience vehicle reconditioning and or general auto body knowledge
• Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written skills preferred.
• Ability to operate vehicles with standard and automatic transmission is preferred.

Work Environment

• Constant exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Moderate noise level. 85% outdoors / 15% indoors (admin duties)

USD 20.10 - 30.10 per hour

Compensation

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $20.10 - $30.10/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
