Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Wholesale Account Marketing Manager to lead omni-channel campaigns for designated wholesale accounts from Portland headquarter. The role collaborates with Brand, Sales, and Merchandising to align with seasonal priorities and drive sell-in and sell-through.
The ideal candidate has 8+ years of marketing experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage budgets, brands, and cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment. Travel may reach 40%.
This position is designated as a hybrid role based out of our headquarters near Portland, Oregon. The current expectation is for employees to work onsite four days per week, subject to change based on business needs. This in-office requirement may be adjusted at the discretion of the company.
The Wholesale Account Marketing Manager will manage and implement omni-channel marketing campaigns within the designated wholesale account that supports being always on, brand led, consumer focused and digitally led.
This role will develop and lead strategy, sell-in, execution and evaluation of major marketing initiatives and business drivers that support apparel, footwear, and accessories businesses within the designated account base.
This role works cross functionally with Brand & Retail Marketing, Sales, Agency Partners, and Merchandising teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive awareness, consideration, purchase, loyalty and advocacy with consumers.
An outstanding leader who can translate company strategies into functional team goals. Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills. Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work both independently and collaborate with various types of teams.
Bachelor's or master's degree, or applicable certification or equivalent experience. Typically requires 8+ years functional experience. Experience managing individual contributors and a department or acting as a lead. Ability to manage and lead teams of people in local or remote locations. Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills. Intermediate level of computer skills including spreadsheet and word processing applications. Ability to conduct complex interpersonal interactions with people who are in a position to affect sales of Columbia Sportswear products. Ability to solve problems, make decisions independently, operate independently, and with discretion and work efficiently under pressure. May travel 40% of the time.
