Job summary

McCarty Equipment, a SunSource company, is seeking recent graduates for the GO2 Account Manager Training Program in the Abilene, TX area. This 12-month development track combines structured paid training at our Orlando headquarters with hands-on field experience.

You will learn full cycle outside sales, build customer relationships, and train to transition into a full-time Account Manager in your assigned territory. Bachelor’s degree is required; relocation for training is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Sales, or related field is a plus.
• Coursework, training or certifications in Supply Chain, Sales, or Engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn full cycle outside sales and relationship-building skills with customers.
• Work alongside Account Managers during onsite customer visits.
• Gain exposure to the latest industrial technology and applications.

Grow Our Own (GO2) –Account Manager Training Program

What is GO2?

GO2 is our 12 month development program designed for recent graduates interested in a career in technical sales. Because our Account Manager and Outside Sales roles require a rare mix of both technical and sales skills, we created this dynamic program that sets individuals up for success and a long-term career with us. You will receive comprehensive training, hands on experience, and dedicated mentorship, preparing you to transition into a full-time sales role in an assigned territory, in the Abilene, TX area.

• Participate in structured paid training at our headquarters in Orlando, where you will receive ongoing mentorship, professional development, and in-depth product training
• Learn full cycle outside sales and relationship building skills with new and existing customers
• Work alongside experienced Account Managers during onsite customer visits
• Learn about the latest industrial technology, and how to apply it to real world applications

• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Sales, or related field is a plus.
• Coursework, training or certifications in Supply Chain, Sales, Engineering is a plus.
• Ability to be conversive in Spanish is a plus
• Internship or co-op experience in a sales/distribution or manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Mechanical and/or Electrical interest and aptitude.
• Willingness to relocate for training (12+ months) and for final placement at completion of program.
• Competitive in nature with a passion for winning and a commitment to delivering top results in a performance-based environment.

This is a full-time, paid position with a transition into a full-time Account Manager upon completion of the program.
