Job summary

McCann Industries Inc. is seeking an Account Manager in our Sales department to grow and service accounts in Lake and McHenry Counties.

You will develop new business, promote products, work with vendors, and assist customers with credit and finance issues. Responsibilities include visiting construction sites and customer locations, attending industry events, coordinating with inside sales, and preparing quotes and contracts while maintaining strong relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1–2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Analytical and interpretive skills; refined oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Compile lists of prospective customers for sales leads; keep current customer database; attend trade shows and training events.
• Travel to assigned territories; call on customers; solicit orders; prepare sales contracts and quotes; estimate delivery dates; resolve customer concerns.
• Promote the company’s products and services; work with other Account managers as required.
• Prepare reports and coordinate customer training and job site demonstrations for equipment and supplies.
