Account Manager Retail SMB Business Sales

Role Overview

As an Account Manager, you will introduce small and medium business customers to Verizon's latest high-tech 5G products and services tailored to their needs. Your responsibilities include interacting with customers in retail stores, digitally, and through outbound prospecting, demonstrating product value, and generating new business via prospecting, networking, and referrals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive small business results through retail channels by partnering with and mentoring Sales Representatives.
  2. Grow your customer base by acquiring and retaining accounts in the small business segment.
  3. Utilize solutions-based selling techniques to address business problems.
  4. Engage in outbound sales prospecting and customer visits.
  5. Service existing customer needs.
  6. Use sales tools to track, forecast, and manage your pipeline and business.
Compensation and Benefits

Competitive salary with base pay and individual-based commissions, with unlimited earning potential through incentives. Qualifications

Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree or four years of work experience, three+ years relevant experience, experience in sales/marketing/customer service, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel. Work Environment

This is a hybrid role with a combination of remote work and at least eight in-office days per month.

Additional Information

Verizon is an equal opportunity employer. Salary varies by location, experience, and performance, with a range for New York of $36,000 to $58,900 annually. This position is commission-based with potential for higher earnings.
