Une agence de relations publiques recherche un Account Manager pour un contrat à distance. Le rôle consiste à gérer et développer des relations clients tout en écrivant des contenus stratégiques. Le candidat idéal aura plus de 7 ans d'expérience en PR, de solides compétences rédactionnelles, et une expérience éprouvée avec des clients B2B. Our Public Relations agency client is looking for an account manager to join their team, 40 hours per week, for at least the next 6 months. This role has the opportunity to convert to FTE for the right candidate. This role is 100% remote, but the client prefers someone who resides on the West Coast.
In this role you will be responsible for creating new strategic ideas / communications plans and proactively pitching and generating editorial coverage with each PR announcement. You will also be responsible for delegating billable work and understanding how long certain items will take.
Additional responsibilities include:
- managing, maintaining, and growing client relationships while ensuring stakeholders are aligned
- managing a minimum of $200,000 - $500,000 in annual revenue
- understanding a client's business goals and building a communications plan to support those efforts
- writing and copy editing content for campaigns
- leading client meetings
- providing guidance to and mentor junior staff and supervise account staff
The ideal account manager will have:
- 7+ years of experience in a PR/ agency space
- experience with B2B clients (ideally in the tech, SaaS, healthcare industries)
- strong experience writing press releases, bylines, white papers, communications plans, speeches, and backgrounders
- experience leading small teams
- existing media contacts and relationships
- strong understanding of and ability to execute PR plans, strategies and programs based on client objectives
- familiarity with the Associated Press style guide
- experience managing client budgets + an understanding of how many billable hours certain tasks will take
