Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency seeks an Account Manager for Private Client Services in Richmond, VA. You will develop and service new and existing accounts, acting as advisor to clients and delivering personalized insurance solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in Personal Lines, a P&C license (or ability to obtain within 90 days), and strong customer service, time management, and Excel skills. Sponsorship is not required.

• Personal Lines Insurance knowledge with 3+ years in insurance customer service
• Experience with admitted and non-admitted markets and private client policy types
• P&C License or ability to obtain within 90 days
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in future

A day in the life.

As our Account Manager on the Private Client Services team, you'll be responsible for developing and servicing new and existing accounts. Serving as an advisor and consultant to clients, you will maintain and retain existing business, while following up on referrals and rounding client accounts.

Successful candidates will have:

• Superb customer service skills and ability to work independently.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills.
• Self-starter with demonstrated resourcefulness
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced proficiency in Excel.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Demonstrated knowledge of Personal Lines Insurance coverages with a minimum 3 years prior experience in customer service within the insurance industry
• Experience with both admitted and non-admitted markets, as well as all private client (personal lines) policy types.
• P&C Insurance License (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience using Sagitta, ImageRight and EPIC preferred

The applicable base salary range for this role is $64,700 to $120,400.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by‑case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
