Overview:

Are you passionate about technology, mobility, and creating better parking experiences? Do you have a knack for turning prospects into partners and relationships into results? Our client—a leading provider of smart parking and access control solutions—is looking for a dynamic Account Manager to own and grow their presence in Orange County, California. This is a remote position.

This is not your average sales role. It’s a hybrid of sales strategy, relationship management, and territory development, perfect for someone who thrives in a consultative sales environment and knows how to deliver value to both municipalities and private sector clients.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As the Account Manager for California, you'll be the face of the brand in one of the region’s most active parking markets. Your role is to grow revenue, nurture key accounts, and be the go-to problem solver and solution provider for parking operators, real estate developers, municipalities, universities, and other commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within your territory, including lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline development.
  • Respond to inbound RFPs and inquiries with compelling, timely proposals that demonstrate ROI and solution fit.
  • Present and demo parking technology solutions to a range of stakeholders, from operators to C-suite decision-makers.
  • Negotiate and close contracts with integrity and confidence.

Account Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing customers in the region—ensuring client satisfaction, driving renewals, and identifying upsell opportunities.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews with key accounts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for your clients, bringing insights and recommendations to strengthen their operations and improve their outcomes.

Territory Leadership

  • Own the strategy and execution for Orange County and surrounding areas (territory may be subject to minor adjustments).
  • Partner with marketing, technical support, and product teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and local market dynamics.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in parking technology, SaaS, physical security, mobility, or access control industries.
  • Proven track record of building long-term client relationships and achieving/exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills—able to influence across all levels of an organization.
  • Self-starter mentality with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Must be based in or near Orange County, with the ability to travel throughout the territory.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience selling into verticals like municipalities, universities, airports, healthcare, or commercial real estate.
  • Understanding of PARCS (Parking Access and Revenue Control Systems), LPR (License Plate Recognition), or connected mobility tech.
  • Previous experience in a high-growth or startup environment.
