SunSource Mobile Technology Services is a major distributor of fluid power and motion control products and engineering services. We provide technical support, including design assistance, subassembly and kitted products, inventory management, and hydraulic repair, serving OEMs, plants, mills, mines, and factories worldwide.

This role covers a sales territory in Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania, focusing on the On-Highway hydraulic market segment. Recognized as a key growth market, this segment includes Service Trucks, Refuse, Vacuum, Feed Mixers, Ground Support, and Cranes. SunSource aims to hire top talent to accelerate growth in this area.

Essential Functions
  1. Develop sales plans with leadership to build a prospect list, maintain current clients, and acquire new business.
  2. Engage in full-cycle prospecting, including lead qualification, cold calling, and sales presentations.
  3. Use your hydraulic sales and product application experience to help customers find operational solutions.
  4. Collaborate with customer service and technical teams to meet and exceed sales targets.
  5. Manage your territory using tools like MS Outlook, MS Excel, and CRM systems.
Education, Skills, and Experience
  • Two- or four-year technical diploma, preferably in engineering or fluid power, or equivalent experience.
  • Fluid Power certification is advantageous.
  • At least 2 years of industrial sales experience with mobile hydraulic equipment or OEMs.
  • Experience in value-added industrial sales and hydraulic system troubleshooting is preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel overnight.
