SunSource Mobile Technology Services is a leading distribution company for fluid power and motion control products and engineering services in North America. We offer technical resources, including initial design support, subassembly and kitted products, inventory programs, and hydraulic repair. We serve OEM equipment manufacturers and various industrial plants, mills, mines, and factories that drive the global economy.

Position Overview

This role covers a sales territory in Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania, focusing on the On-Highway hydraulic market segment, which is a key growth area for SunSource. The market includes Service Trucks, Refuse, Vacuum, Feed Mixers, Ground Support, and Cranes, with significant growth opportunities.

Essential Functions
  1. Develop a sales plan with leadership to identify prospects and maintain current customers while capturing new business.
  2. Engage in full-cycle prospecting, including lead qualification, cold calling, and sales presentations.
  3. Leverage your mobile hydraulic sales and product application experience to assist customers in solving equipment and operational challenges.
  4. Collaborate with customer service and technical support teams to meet and exceed sales goals.
  5. Use resources such as MS Outlook, MS Excel, and CRM tools to plan, organize, and manage your territory effectively.
Qualifications
  1. Two- or four-year technical diploma, preferably in engineering or fluid power, or equivalent training and experience.
  2. Fluid Power certification is a plus.
  3. Minimum of 2 years of industrial sales experience within mobile hydraulics or OEMs.
  4. Experience in value-added industrial sales is preferred.
  5. Product application and troubleshooting experience with hydraulic systems is preferred.
  6. Strong ability to establish and maintain business relationships.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Proficiency with computers.
  9. Valid driver's license is required.
  10. Overnight travel may be necessary.
