Job summary

Ashland Specialty Ingredients, GP seeks an Account Manager for its Microbial Protection line within the US Personal Care business. You will lead sales, manage key accounts, and collaborate with Technical Experts to deliver customer-focused solutions.

The role requires 3–5 years of sales in personal care ingredients, a biological/chemical degree, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 50%. A driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in biological or chemical science; relevant work experience can supersede.
• 3–5 years sales experience in personal care ingredients; Microbial Protection experience a plus.
• Ability to function within ambiguity and be self driven.
• Strong team player with interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
• Willingness to travel (approx. 50%) and driving license.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Microbial Protection business and customers' interface within North America.
• Apply Microbial Protection strategy at the accounts under responsibility.
• Deliver the business plan for the assigned territory: sales volume, revenues, profits.
• Present, promote and sell products to existing and new customers within a defined territory.
• Identify and deliver new opportunities to grow business in the designated territory.
• Develop partnerships to generate leads and brand recognition in North America.
• Coordinate projects with customers on product applications; work with Technical Experts to meet needs.
• Contribute insights to regional strategy and account plans and implement accordingly.
