Job Details

The Account Manager will be responsible for executing the strategic and operational plan as directed by Commercial leadership by representing our products to new and existing customers, while achieving the sales expectations/quota of an assigned territory.

  1. Drive all daily sales objectives focusing on territory growth, including new account targeting, cultivation, and launch planning.
  2. Develop and execute territory business plans in a quarterly quota-based system by implementing sales strategies based on relevant factors.
  3. Lead all training and education planning during account launches.
  4. Demonstrate proficiency in presenting and implementing Performance Guarantees in key accounts, with follow-up through Quarterly Business Reviews.
  5. Regularly transfer account knowledge and other requested information to the leadership team.
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies, the Quality System, and regulatory requirements.
  7. Collaborate with clinical specialists and align the team around the business plan.
  8. Make clinical and economic presentations to customers, committee members, and staff.
  9. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, including Key Opinion Leader (KOL) cultivation.
  10. Uphold company standards of ethical and moral character, representing the company professionally.
  11. Develop relationships with hospital administrative staff and execute corporate contracts when appropriate.
  12. Maintain outstanding product knowledge and contribute to training, marketing, and competitive intelligence efforts.
  13. Manage territory finances, including controlling expenses, product returns, and inventory.
Qualifications

Education: Minimum of 5+ years of related experience in Medical Device Sales, specifically in Interventional Cardiology and/or Structural Heart.

Skills: Extensive knowledge of the medical device market, products, and customers; strong work ethic; business acumen; ability to establish credibility; emotional intelligence; experience calling on interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, vascular surgeons, radiologists, and administrators; strategic thinking; flexibility; resourcefulness.

Physical Demands

Must meet legal standards such as the Americans with Disabilities Act. Physical requirements include standing, walking, reaching, lifting up to 10 pounds, fine manipulation, and exposure to various environmental factors. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.

Travel Expectations

Up to 50% travel within the Baltimore, MD area.

Compensation includes base salary, incentives, and benefits such as 401(k), stock purchase plan, paid time off, parental leave, disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, and health benefits. The salary range for this role is $66,060.29 - $109,051.90 annually.
