Job summary

Buddy's Home Furnishings is seeking an Account Representative to manage customer accounts, explain rental terms, and support showroom operations. The role includes inside sales, outside collections, and coordinating delivery and pickup of merchandise to ensure customer satisfaction.

The position requires strong communication, a professional appearance, and reliable attendance, including nights and weekends as business dictates. Training will cover VersiRent and store procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent telephone skills
• Maintain professional appearance
• Must be able to drive during day, night and meet all safety requirements
• Must be able to explain terms of rental/lease agreement to customer
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in person and over telephone
• Must be able to work overtime
• Must be proficient in product features, benefits; must be able to work on showroom floor
• Must have proficient navigational skills with a satisfactory driving record and meet insurability requirements
• Regular and consistent attendance, including nights and weekends as business dictates.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts and satisfy company collection and revenue standards.
• Perform inside sales and outside collections.
• Help maintain appearance of showroom; take primary role in delivery and pickup of merchandise.
• May perform managerial functions or duties as assigned by General Manager.
