ХАГЕМАЕР ГРУПП is seeking an experienced underwriter to assess and place commercial lines accounts, handling new and renewal business in line with company policies. The role requires collaboration with agents, knowledge of coverage forms and efficient use of the agency management system.
The candidate should have 3–5 years of related experience, a valid license, and possess strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills to adapt to changing market conditions.
Minimum book size:Premium: $5,000,000Revenue: $ 500,000Policy count: 350Underwrite and market new and renewal commercial lines accounts in accordance with agency's policies and procedures. Provide assistance and support in placing, maintaining, expanding and servicing accounts. Must be able to work under minimal supervision.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; college degree highly desired.Minimum 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training.Successful completion of educational seminars and classes required.Equivalent combination of education, training or related work experience will be considered.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsProducer Licensing required.CPCU, CIC or other Property/Casualty designations preferred.
Basic knowledge of multi-line risk underwriting. Demonstrate basic understanding of the industry, market conditions, and a broad knowledge of principal laws and regulations. Basic knowledge of financial analysis.Strong oral and written communication skills.Good negotiation, presentation, and sales skills.Possess a positive attitude, rationality, and tactfulness.Proficient with PC navigation and Microsoft Office based software applications.Demonstrate knowledge of and skill in the following:customer servicemathematical, analytical, and varying levels of financial analysisinterpersonal and relationship buildingtime management, organization, and prioritizationproblem solving and decision makingdetail and results oriented.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $64,700 to $120,400.The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
