Role: Account Manager III

Location: Dallas, TX

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; one Saturday per month, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

Type of Employment: Contract-to-Hire

Compensation: $21.50 – $25.00/hour upon conversion to permanent employment, plus commission eligibility after 90 days

Job Description

Addison Group is hiring an Account Manager III for our client, a financial services organization specializing in consumer financing. This position will be responsible for managing customer accounts that are in the mid-stage collections process while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and account resolution.

The successful candidate will have several years of collections experience and be comfortable communicating with customers regarding past-due balances, negotiating payment arrangements, and maintaining accurate account records.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned accounts that have progressed into the mid-stage collections cycle, generally between 30 and 60 days past due.
• Make and receive customer calls to discuss outstanding balances and work toward account resolution.
• Engage customers in professional conversations regarding delinquent payments and available repayment options.
• Negotiate appropriate payment arrangements based on customer circumstances and established guidelines.
• Assist customers with questions and account-related concerns, including those whose accounts are current.
• Conduct basic research and skip-tracing activities when customer contact information is unavailable or outdated.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer communications, account activity, and payment arrangements.
• Update account information to support effective collection efforts and successful resolution.
• Follow established collection practices, internal procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Complete required training programs, certifications, and compliance assessments.
• Meet or exceed established performance, productivity, and quality standards.
• Safeguard confidential customer and financial information at all times.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach during all account interactions.
