Job summary

Rent-A-Center is seeking an Account Manager in Portland, TX to manage rental accounts, deliver excellent customer service, and drive sales growth. The role includes handling deliveries and pickups, maintaining store standards, and performing early-stage collections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of accounts and build customer relationships.
• Conduct early-stage collections (1–6 days past due) and meet collection standards.
• Maintain account health and secure payment commitments.
• Complete deliveries, pickups, and account follow-ups.
• Deliver white-glove customer service in-store, over the phone, and in customers’ homes.
• Contribute to sales growth and generate new rental agreements.
• Safely transport, install, and handle merchandise.
• Maintain showroom standards and company vehicles.
• Adhere to safety and operational guidelines.
