Job summary

Rent-A-Center, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager to manage rental accounts, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive account performance. The role involves deliveries, pickups, and maintaining showroom standards while adhering to safety guidelines.

You will build strong customer relationships, support sales growth, and handle early-stage collections. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, 18+ years, and a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of accounts and build strong customer relationships.
• Conduct early-stage collections (1–6 days past due) and meet daily/weekly targets.
• Maintain account health and secure payment commitments using account tools.
• Complete routes for deliveries, pickups and follow-ups.
• Provide white-glove customer service in-store, by phone and at customers’ homes.
• Contribute to sales growth and generate new rental agreements.
• Safely transport, install and handle merchandise.
• Maintain showroom standards and company vehicles.
• Adhere to all safety and operational guidelines.
