Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager – Employee Benefits. You will support IOA Benefits Account Management, client service, renewals, and data management under Producer direction.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of industry experience, active licensing, and strong communication and leadership skills. Remote work is possible with some onsite needs in Longwood, FL; salary ranges 70k–90k annually.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Active licensing required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• High accuracy in handling large work volumes.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and ensure performance requirements are met.
• Deliver outstanding service and respond quickly to requests.
• Lead the account team and coordinate daily tasks of Account Coordinators.
• Direct daily activities of Account Coordinators and assign tasks.
• Identify and act on sales opportunities to grow IOA business.
• Manage new business setup including data gathering and communications.
• Oversee renewal processes and rate negotiations with carriers.
• Build and improve client relationships and seek feedback for improvements.
• Advocate for clients and carriers to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Identify value-added solutions for clients and support professional development.
• Maintain transparent communication with Producers and team members.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
