Job summary

Rent-A-Center in Decatur, AL is seeking an Account Manager to manage rental accounts, deliver outstanding customer service, and drive account performance through sales and timely payments.

The role includes completing deliveries and pickups, performing early-stage collections, maintaining showroom standards, and building strong customer relationships while upholding RAC values. This is a full-time position with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of accounts while building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Conduct early-stage collections (1–6 days past due) and meet daily/weekly collection standards.
• Maintain account health and secure payment commitments utilizing account management tools.
• Complete assigned routes for deliveries, pickups, and account follow-ups.
• Deliver white-glove customer service in-store, over the phone, and in customers’ homes.
• Contribute to sales growth and generate new rental agreements.
• Safely transport, install, and handle merchandise.
• Maintain showroom standards and company vehicles.
• Adhere to all company safety and operational guidelines.
