Job summary

Malone’s Landscape is seeking an Account Client Relationship Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial properties in the Greater Seattle area, build strong relationships, and ensure service delivery meets contract requirements. You will conduct site visits, identify enhancement opportunities, manage renewal and retention, and coordinate with field teams.

This role requires organization, proactivity, and travel between client properties as needed.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in account management, client relations, hospitality, sales, or a similar service leadership role preferred
  • Landscape maintenance or related green industry experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and priorities
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work with clients, field teams, and company leadership
  • Willingness to learn landscape maintenance practices, equipment, and service standards
  • Proactive problem-solving and a strong work ethic
  • High school diploma; additional education in business, horticulture, landscape management, or related field is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required due to regular travel between client properties and company locations

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients
  • Perform regular site visits and formal client walkthroughs to ensure service expectations are being met or exceeded
  • Proactively identify property enhancement opportunities and present plans, recommendations, and estimates to clients
  • Manage and grow enhancement sales within assigned accounts
  • Drive the renewal and retention of assigned client accounts
  • Develop client referrals and identify potential new business opportunities
  • Respond to and resolve client concerns with a positive, professional, and proactive approach
  • Help ensure services are delivered according to contract requirements and scope of work
  • Work closely with field supervisors and crews to maintain Malone’s standards for quality and service
  • Help ensure a safe environment for employees, clients, and the general public
  • Maintain required client documentation, reporting, and account information
  • Communicate client expectations and priorities clearly to operations teams
  • Manage multiple accounts, priorities, deadlines, and follow-up items
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

We are currently seeking a Account Client Relationship Manager to join our high-energy, growth-oriented company.

About the Role:

The Account Client Relationship Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of existing commercial landscape properties, building strong client relationships, overseeing the delivery and quality of contracted services, and identifying and selling property enhancement opportunities.

This role requires someone who is highly organized, proactive, relationship-driven, and comfortable working both with clients and our field operations teams. Landscape industry experience is preferred, but candidates with a strong background in account management, hospitality, sales, or other service-based industries are encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Do:

This role requires comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation will be determined based on job-related experience, qualifications,
skills, and other legitimate business factors. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation, including commissions on qualifying enhancement sales and/or performance-based incentive compensation, based on the applicable company compensation plan.
