Job summary

SEI Corporation in USA, PA, Oakstime is seeking a Client Service Specialist I (Account Manager) to serve as the main daily client contact, coordinating SEI resources and ensuring exceptional service to hedge fund clients.

You will work with Advent Geneva and Excel/Access, develop processes, and manage ad hoc requests with some travel (10–15%). This role requires 3.5+ years in an alternative investments operations role and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3.5 years related work experience in operations role supporting Alternative Investments.
• Supervisory experience in Alt Operations.
• Knowledge of financial and investment management account services.
• Experience with Advent Geneva.
• Proficient with Excel & Access.
• Strong dedication to quality customer service.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with external clients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• You will serve as main daily client contact.
• You will cultivate and maintain close relationships with clients through proactive measures and written/verbal communication.
• Coordinate internal SEI resources on behalf of client (COPS, Recon, Accounting, Technology, etc.)
• Identify, resolve, and/or escalate critical issues
• Represent for each client with the various third party vendors used by the teams.
• Coordinate all new business setups.
• Develop/document processes and controls for enhancements to our Alternative Fund Administration offering.
• Manage client and internal expectations for ad hoc requests.
• Take a consultative approach with client project requests; prioritize, scope, and implement when necessary custom specifications.
• Work with the team to continually define our service offering and manage client expectations.
• You must be comfortable working with various file and data formats.
• Some travel required (10-15%).
