itD is hiring three experienced Account Managers to support clients across high-impact industry verticals. We are hiring for:

  • One Bay Area-based Account Manager supporting clients in the beauty and retail space
  • One Bay Area-based Account Manager supporting clients in enterprise technology and infrastructure
  • One Austin, TX-based Account Manager supporting clients in the technology and social media space

These are long-term W2 roles with commission-based compensation and full benefits, including medical, 401k, paid holidays, and more. We are only considering direct W2 candidates at this time, as we are unable to offer sponsorship. While these roles are remote, some proximity to the Bay Area or Austin is required to support periodic client meetings and consultant events.

As an Account Manager at itD, you serve as the connective tissue between our clients, consultants (field ambassadors), and internal teams. Youll be responsible for managing the full consultant experiencefrom onboarding through offboardingwith a focus on relationship health, trust-building, and proactive support. Youll work closely with a Business Developer to reinforce delivery excellence, protect and grow key accounts, and support hiring and performance across your portfolio. While people always come first in this role, maintaining clean, accurate data and operational consistency is critical to scaling your impact. Every day is differentand the strongest Account Managers are adaptable, accountable, and always thinking a few steps ahead.

California: $85,000 $135,000 (depending on experience)

Texas: $75,000 $115,000 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

Ambassador and Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the first point of contact for consultants and client partners
  • Build trust through responsiveness, consistency, and clarity
  • Support consultant performance, satisfaction, and retention throughout the engagement
  • Surface risks early and handle complex situations with professionalism

Consultant Lifecycle Oversight

  • Lead consultants through the full engagement lifecycle, from onboarding to closeout
  • Coordinate internal and client-specific steps to ensure a smooth and supported experience
  • Ensure expectations are clear, blockers are addressed, and consultants feel supported

Interviewing and Hiring Support

  • Participate in interviews for key roles tied to your assigned clients
  • Provide insight into client culture, expectations, and program structure during candidate evaluations
  • Align closely with your Business Developer and recruiting partners to ensure candidate quality and fit
  • Help calibrate hiring needs, support offer prep, and ensure strong handoffs into onboarding

Operational Execution and Data Accuracy

  • Keep systems and records up to date across consultants, clients, and projects
  • Own CRM data hygiene across consultant records, client contacts, deal entries, and related documentation
  • Ensure internal alignment between business development, recruiting, and operations

Client Engagement and Business Development Support

  • Partner with your assigned Business Developer to protect and grow assigned client relationships
  • Stay closely aligned to ongoing project needs and identify opportunities to strengthen delivery or enhance consultant impact
  • Contribute to account expansion through consistency, clarity, and trusted partnership
  • Support sales growth by identifying new opportunities within existing accounts, expanding consultant headcount, and influencing client demand planning
  • Coordinate appreciation efforts and light event planning as needed to support engagement

Required qualifications and skills

  • 3+ years in account management, client success, or consulting delivery roles
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with precision and follow-through
  • High comfort level operating in fast-paced and occasionally ambiguous environments
  • Skilled at earning trust and driving accountability across both client and internal teams

Preferred qualifications and skills

  • For Bay Area (beauty/retail): Experience supporting consumer product, lifestyle, or retail brands
  • For Bay Area (enterprise tech): Experience in hardware or technical client environments
  • For Austin (social media): Background supporting fast-growth tech or platform-oriented clients
  • Experience with consultant populations, client-facing service models, or delivery oversight
  • Comfortable coordinating regional meetings, appreciation efforts, or client-facing events

Education

  • BA/BS degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Communications, or Organizational Leadership
