Job description

Mid to Senior Level (Management)

ACCOUNT MANAGER, Automotive

This is a privately held North American manufacturer of PVC coated fabrics across various sectors. The company has a revenue of over $100 million and continues to grow and innovate. In their automotive sector, they produce nearly 5 million yards of polyvinyl coated fabrics annually.

Compensation: Base salary plus commissions and bonus. Full benefits. This position is primarily WFH, but candidates must be located in the MI (Detroit) area.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in the automotive industry.
  2. Engage proactively with Tier 1 & Tier 2 suppliers and OEMs.
  3. Leverage existing experience selling PVC coated fabrics or similar products like PU products.
  4. Call on trim shops and other relevant clients.
  5. Travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects.

We are seeking a candidate who understands that successful sales involve face-to-face interactions, relationship-building, and a proactive approach. The ideal candidate has experience in the automotive sector and a proven track record of sales success. References related to previous work are required.
