Job Title: Account Manager Associate - Commercial Lines

Location: Remote (Supporting Gainesville, GA Branch)

Book Focus: Franchised Dealerships, Construction, Manufacturing & Distribution, Cyber

About the Role: Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and/or assigned group of accounts. Work with minimal direction from an Account Manager, Account Executive, or Producer, ensuring standards are met while safeguarding against errors and omissions. Independently resolve moderately complex customer service problems and manage smaller or less complex accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
  • Assist in directing day-to-day activities of support staff and team members.
  • Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
  • Manage policy expirations and renewals.
  • Conduct client research, gather underwriting info, perform loss analysis, prepare submissions, evaluate and negotiate coverages and pricing, and follow up for policy issuance.
  • Process tasks accurately and timely.
  • Review contracts for proper coverage inclusion.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances.
  • Maintain agency management and carrier/vendor systems.
  • Ensure timely completion of activities and communicate workload status.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and respond proactively to needs.
  • Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
  • Seek continuous improvement and best practices.
  • Demonstrate integrity and leadership in line with IOA values.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of customer service experience in insurance.
  • Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
  • Active insurance license required; professional designation preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
