Job summary

Keysight Technologies Inc. in Tucson seeks an Account Manager for the Aerospace Defense sector.

You will manage a top-tier government prime account, translate customer needs into Keysight solutions, and drive opportunities with minimal support while building lasting relationships. Ideal candidates have 5–10+ years of sales experience, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of electronics test and measurements; RF/Microwave knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent education.
• 5-10+ years in Sales/Account Management with customer relations experience.
• Strong understanding of electronics test and measurements; RF/Microwave preferred.
• Excellent written & verbal communication; strong business judgment and negotiation skills.
• US Citizenship and Tucson, AZ residence required based on customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a top-tier government prime account within the Southwest Government Primes Team.
• Understand customer needs and translate them into Keysight solutions.
• Grow funnel, manage opportunities, and coordinate with internal teams.

Account Manager-Aerospace Defense

This is an opportunity to join a thriving assignment in our South-West Government Primes Team:

• You’ll be part of a sales team managing a top tier prime government account
• The ideal candidate must have business and sales as top of mind but must also be technical to understand the customer’s needs and our solutions
• You’ll champion our products and custom solutions, unveiling them to existing and potential customers while keeping them informed about our latest offerings.
• Cultivating customer relationships and ensuring their ongoing satisfaction will be at the heart of what you do.

This exciting role encompasses a blend of technical skills and proven sales experience.

• Open to and able to quickly learn and grow in both technical and business skills
• Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into Keysight solutions
• Ability to “see the big picture” in customer interactions, identify drivers, influencers and their motivations.
• Willing to work both as a team on joint assignments and able to drive opportunities with limited support
• Listen first, talk second mindset when interacting with customers
• Proactively work to understand customer needs and identify solutions to non-standard tasks/queries
• Grow your funnel intake, manage opportunities, and complex issues requiring leadership and coordination with various organizations within the company
• Ability to develop and build long-term relationships and loyalty with customers

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent education
• 5-10+ years of applicable Sales/Account Management experience
• Experience managing customers relationships
• Proven ability to develop deep strategic partnerships with customers
• Strong understanding of electronics test and measurements
• RF/Microwave is strongly preferred
• Successful candidates will have a passion for continuous learning and an ability to develop strong relationships with customers and internal team members.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Sound business judgment with organization & negotiation skills
• Effective presentation and problem-solving skills
• Based on customer requirements, must be a US Citizen and reside in Tucson, AZ.

Pay will vary by region and is based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range.

Minimum:$196,74.00, Midpoint: $262,310, Maximum: $327,890
