Dealers United is a fast-growing, full-service digital marketing agency that excels at helping our automotive dealership and home service partners gain efficiencies by increasing sales and market share. Dealers United is committed to helping dealers solve challenges with best-in-class services, while providing the highest levels of accountability and customer service.
We are looking to bring on more Account Managers to our ranks. This is a remote position unless you are located within the Sarasota, FL region. Those located in Sarasota, FL have the opportunity to work in our office.
Dealers United Account Managers are organized, can multitask, and are strong communicators with a passion for learning new & innovative strategies to increase client success. Our top Client Leads/Account Managers are experienced in managing client relationships and are excellent listeners and collaborators that can understand a challenge & provide recommendations to solve that challenge. You will work closely with our Auto Dealership clients and Home Services business owners to understand their KPI’s and help them accomplish their sales and service business objectives. You will report to the Director of Account Management and work cross-functionally with the Sales, Marketing and Media Teams to create and aid in revenue retention and growth.
Compensation: $40-50k base salary (DOE) with a variable pay opportunity to bring in up to an additional 40k - 69k for a total of up to $119,000 for those that can manage more than the minimum expected. Beyond this, you will be compensated in the form of commissions for sales and upsells.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be the primary point of contact for a book of Dealers United’s clients. You are managing all aspects of client relationship, support, and communication. You help guide the execution of media strategies with the media team.
- Have strong knowledge of the automotive industry across OEM’s and dealerships: be aware of your clients’ competitive landscape and deliver solutions to help drive your clients various profit centers.
- Have a strong knowledge of the Home Services industry (HVAC) and what it takes to develop great digital marketing strategies that involve multiple forms of media.
- Be a partner to your book of business: when a problem or question arises, you are their first call. You bring strategies and new tactics to every interaction with your clients.
- Manage the overall digital marketing strategy for clients including coordination of all internal stakeholders around insights, deck review and ongoing reporting for social media ads, Google Ads, OTT, SEO, and email marketing.
- Lead and manage all communication with clients.
- Work closely and collaborate with the Dealers United Sales, Marketing, Media Team to deliver monthly actionable insights to each client in your book of business.
- Establish a baseline of key performance metrics with each client and deliver consistent updates to the client on performance vs those metrics.
- Coordinate with the Media Team to deliver monthly sales and performance reports.
- Establish strong, long-term client relationships and increase company-wide retention of your book of business.
- Identify key growth and upsell opportunities within accounts to help build and increase our Customers’ Lifetime Value.
- Ensure internal and delegated tasks are being delivered accurately and on-time and as expected by client.
- Where appropriate and in coordination with management, visit your clients at their location to learn and understand how Dealers United can further help their business.
IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years experience managing a book of clients in digital marketing/sales/agency setting
- 1-3 years automotive experience (dealership, agency, OEM) (preferred)
- 1-3 years home services experience (HVAC, roofing, electric, plumbing)
- Strong aptitude and understanding of digital advertising solutions and strategies including: Google Ads, SEO, Google Analytics and social media platforms (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest), OTT, and email marketing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a track record for building strong client relationships with clients
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to uncover actionable insights to help grow your clients’ business
- Proven Account Management and/or Project Management Experience with success managing multiple clients at a time
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks during the day and still get everything done even as issues and problems arise.
- Superb organizational and task management skills

- Willingness to problem-solve, optimize processes and make decisions on your own
- Ability to quickly adapt to the ever changing world of digital marketing and advertising
- Ability to understand, produce, and communicate reports and metrics
