Job summary

USA Scientific is hiring an outside sales representative to cover the San Jose sales territory, including Palo Alto, San Jose, Fremont and surrounding areas. You will meet customers in labs, demonstrate products, and drive new business within life science markets.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (life sciences preferred), 1+ year of sales or related training, a customer-service mindset, self‑starter attitude, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in life sciences; lab experience is a plus.
• 1+ year related sales experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Interest/aptitude to sell products to life science researchers.
• Customer service attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
• Self-motivated with strong desire to succeed.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Promote sales of products within assigned territory to meet goals.
• Serve existing customers and develop new customers in the territory.
• Demonstrate products to end users in labs and virtually.
• Distribute literature to customers and prospects.
• Maintain and grow customer list in CRM.
• Live within 45 minutes of San Jose.

• Expected total compensation of $75,000 - $90,000 includes salary and commission.
