The Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in VA or NC, responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial and/or personal insurance accounts. This role includes serving as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery of policies, endorsements, and renewals. The Account Manager will coordinate with underwriting, sales, and carrier partners to prepare proposals, analyze coverage options, and support policy placement and servicing. Daily responsibilities include processing policy changes, maintaining accurate client records, monitoring key dates such as renewals and audits, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance coverage or improve client satisfaction. The role also involves preparing client presentations, assisting with claims coordination, supporting producers with new business development, and contributing to continuous improvement of service processes within the Richmond office.
