Job summary

Tube Supply in Odessa, TX seeks an Account Manager to drive customer inquiries, quote processing, and vendor coordination. This full-time, on-site position collaborates with Sales Manager and other departments to ensure timely delivery and quality service.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in steel sales, can read Mill Test Reports, and may hold a Bachelor’s degree. You will support inventory management, NCR handling, and vendor relations under company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of steel sales experience.
• Ability to read and understand Mill Test Reports and customer specifications.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries in an effective, timely manner.
• Assist in mentoring Junior Account Managers.
• Approve MTRs to customer specifications.
• Obtain quotes from vendors for services.
• Negotiate best prices and deliveries from vendors.
• Work to approve vendor relations and response times.
• Plan staggered shipments.
• Assist management and Quality control with NCRs.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels.
• Track and troubleshoot orders.
• Correct discrepancies between purchase orders and customer invoices.
• Assist with credit card or COD payments (if applicable).
• Process and document returned material as required.
• Preservation of records (Sales, Orders, services, etc.).
• Communicate with operations daily regarding material and delivery requirements.
• Assist all other departments as needed.
• Comply with all HSE, QMS and Corporate policies at Tube Supply.
• Performs other duties as assigned by a Management/Supervisor.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:
