Job summary

Happy Floors is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to expand our dealer network and grow sales across the United States. You will use your knowledge of our luxury flooring products to build relationships, close deals on displays and inventory, and deliver exceptional service while traveling within the territory.

You will report to the Regional Sales Manager, develop territory action plans, analyze data, and identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Flooring industry background preferred.
  • Luxury brand and high-end home furnishing experience a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sales Representative.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Experience with CRM a plus.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of the product to potential customers.

Responsibilities

  • Selling Happy Floors Hard Surface flooring.
  • Increasing business and sales for existing accounts and developing new ones.
  • Weekly travel throughout the territory (up to 4-5 days of overnight travel per month).
  • Strong and proven ability to sell and close deals on displays, samples and inventory while balancing professional and timely service.
  • Proven ability to foster meaningful, long-term business relationships.
  • Identify and develop nontraditional opportunities for sales.
  • Report to Regional Sales Manager who will train and help you achieve goals.
  • Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
  • CRM/ Repsly adoption to manage territory.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
  • Continuously improve through feedback.

Job Summary

We are currently seeking highly motivated and self-driven Account Managers (AM) throughout the United States. The AM is responsible for using their knowledge of company products to expand the base of accounts, grow sales, and meet customer needs in their respective region. The AM will develop and implement a territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field.
