River Health is seeking an experienced Account Manager to own a book of employer health-benefit accounts in a hybrid role based in Minneapolis. You will focus on renewals, client activation, and growth within hourly-workforce segments.
You will partner with brokers and clients to drive activation, build quarterly reviews, identify expansion opportunities, and escalate product needs from real-world feedback. Base salary ranges $85,000–$100,000 with incentives.
River Health’s mission is to be the best health plan for hourly workers by making healthcare affordable, reliable, and easy to use with the tap of a button. Here is what makes River Health different:
We started River Health because healthcare is too expensive and more complex than it should be. We are building a new system that connects you directly to your healthcare provider and brings transparency to the billing process.
Accessing healthcare should be stress-free, if not enjoyable. We invest resources into improving the care delivery process to delight our members.
We sell health benefits to hourly workforces — the people staffing kitchens, hotel front desks, and store floors. Winning a group is hard. Keeping it, and growing it, is where the business is actually built. You own a book of employer accounts after the sale closes. The job: make sure clients renew, that their people actually use what we offer, and that the relationship grows over time. If our clients stay and expand, River Health works. If they churn, nothing else we do matters. You carry three things: the renewal number for your book, the trust of every client you serve, and the expansion math that grows accounts the right way.
Full-time. Hybrid in Minneapolis, MN.
The base salary range for this role is $85,000–$100,000, plus a target performance-based incentive. Final compensation will depend on relevant experience and qualifications.
